Change is also evident in the quality of the art and within the scope of its representation through local, regional and international galleries and museums. Instrumental for this have been such important events as exchanges between the School of Arts Queensland, Brisbane, and the University of Fine Arts, Ha Noi, and visionary Indochina Arts Project led by David Thomas in the States USA.
Galleries and local museums have an important role to play in the growing popularity of Vietnamese art. They are the primary driving factor behind the growing public enthusiasm and commercial success of works of art in Vietnam.
