For those who buy a digital camera hoping to print their photos at home, there are many decisions to make before creating photo-quality images laboratory. Images produced on glossy photo paper tend to make images from a digital camera look more similar to those created in a photo lab.
The paper size used depends on the images to be printed and, of course, the ability of the printer. The most common sizes are 4×6, 8.5×11, 11x 17 and 13×19. Although 4×6 is the traditional size of most of the largest prints paper may allow the user to adapt to multiple prints on one page. Specialty sizes are available to print panoramic photos, gift cards, and other images odd size.
